Congraturation
As many of you know, Matt and Kim (no, not that Matt and Kim) are two of my closest and best friends, here in Illinois or anywhere.
Last Friday, they welcomed to the world their firstborn, Thomas Allen Belcher*.
I can’t wait to see him.
*I had suggested any number of more adventurous names, including Paul Muad’dib Belcher. Even after Matt made it clear that the ‘Thomas’ part was non-negotiable, I made several impassioned arguments for Thomas Mapother Belcher, which of course fell on deaf ears, the couple already having decided the heir to their estate would necessarily be named after the Flash.
