My photo was in the paper, featured in an article about bike commuting in Chicago. I was part of the queue lined up outside Working Bikes, the local used-bike co-op, last Wednesday.
Except I’m the guy sitting on the ground, stuffing my face with White Castle.
Oh well.
This is why I was late to work today. That and a complete inability to bathe, brush my teeth, prepare breakfast, or flush my toilet.

So, some thoughts about the iPhone after one week of use:
I rode my bike for the first time in two weeks today.
I’d forgotten how much I enjoy doing that.
I’m slowly gaining weight, not in a good way. The possibilty of lurching towards a permanently sedentary (sessile?) lifestyle scares me. Tomorrow, I’m going to start running before work again.
Last Thursday, somebody broke into my car while I was at work. And even though I knew it was bound to happen sooner or later, I was still tremendously annoyed when it finally did. Not angry, not upset, just annoyed. Inconvenienced.
I would have been less peeved, I think, if one of us came out ahead [...]
